Living as the Community of Christ…

One of the greatest challenges facing disciples of Jesus is how to live as the loving community God desires. The apostle Paul had to address this issue of community in every one of his letters we have in our Bible, especially since he was mostly responsible for bringing non-Jews into the movement and was confident they did not have to become Jewish to be a part.

His letter to the Romans is seemingly his most organized and thoroughly detailed composition of living as the community of Christ.  His words still ring true for us today who struggle to share in community.

Come join us on Sundays as we focus on Paul’s instructions from Romans 12-16 in this series entitled, “Living as the Community of Christ.

We meet Sunday mornings, 10AM.

ONE ANOTHER:

Our Sunday morning Sunday morning teaching theme for 2018 is One Another.

The goal of successfully living together in love and peace has never been more crucial than now.  The Bible begins by telling us God designed us for a “one another” life.  The Scriptures unfold the story of how we can achieve a loving and peaceful existence together.  The New Testament alone uses the phrase “one another” almost 80 times to instruct us on how we can best function with one another.

The beauty of One Another is available to us and possible with the God is the great One Another
