Other Ways We Serve

Prayer Needs

We are happy to join you in prayer about your needs.  Click here to send us your prayer request.

Easter Panorama

Held after dark, the Panorama features seven illuminated scenes from the last week of Christ’s life on earth.  Over 40 church members will act out the different scenes, complete with a live donkey, as viewers, driving through in their cars, listen to prerecorded narration provided on cassette or CD.

The church building’s front driveway is transformed into scenes depicting Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem, the Last Supper, Jesus praying in the garden, Jesus before Pilate, Peter’s denial, the Cross, and the Empty Tomb.

The Lord’s Diner

The Lord’s Diner is a faith-based food ministry in downtown Wichita that provides an evening meal 365 days a year for anyone who needs it.  Lord’s Diner relies upon volunteers from churches, various organizations, schools, and businesses to serve the nightly meal.  Westlink has committed to having four servers each third Tuesday of every month and on the third Sunday of every even numbered month we supply twelve workers.

Click here to visit The Lord's Diner website to learn more.

On one Sunday and one Tuesday per month.  Please contact the office (722-1111) to find the current dates.  See Nick if you are willing to help serve on Sunday and see Susan R. if you can help on Tuesday.

A food handler’s card, issued by the city of Wichita, is required for participation.  The card is received by attending a free class at the Wichita Health Department on the first or third Saturday or Monday of each month at 8:30AM or 12:30PM.  A 6PM class is also offered on the third Mondays of each month.  Please call the Health Department at 316-268-8351 to register or just show up at 1900 E 9th (135 and 9th) before a class time.
